I started working online in February 2004 and for 1.5 years ran the day-to-day operations of an Internet-based company that was owned by a friend of mine.

Previously, I had worked as a recruiter helping companies find staff and helping people find jobs.

Beginning in November 2005, I started working online for myself and now operate five of my own websites including this one. My other four websites – which I created, built and wrote myself using SiteBuildIt - are:

This is the first site I built and is dedicated to job searching and career-management advice for career-minded individuals. On this site you'll see that I've used many techniques to attract and interest visitors including providing free content on various topics, a free course, and a free monthly newsletter among others. I also refer visitors to some excellent resources that can help them during their career.

Recruiter Secrets Revealed
Following on the topic of job searching and career management, I decided to write an electronic book (ebook) to teach people about how to effectively search for jobs and manage their careers. I wrote this ebook (108 pages long) based on everything I learned while working as a recruiter with the goal of showing people how they can use this information to further their career.

Permanent Hair Removal Tips
This website is dedicated to showing men and women various hair removal options that might interest them. Certainly, this website has nothing to do with job searching (!) like my other sites do but it does have something in common with these sites: It's based on my personal experiences. This website discusses various hair removal options many of which I've tried myself.

Toronto Travel Secrets
I was born in Toronto, Canada and have lived here for much of my life so I decided to put together a site that discusses my city for anyone interested in traveling here or even living here.

The key commonality between each of my websites is that I share my personal experiences on each of them.

In other words, I show visitors my personal experience and discuss what I learned in each case and how it could apply to them, too.

Writing in your own voice is key to having a great website. People generally like to learn from other people's firsthand experiences and finding your own voice when writing online content is key to having a great website.

Of course, there are other key considerations when putting a great website together and on this site, I try to cover each of these topics to help you gain an understanding of how I set up my sites!

About My Website
