My I Chose A Laptop Computer Instead Of A Desktop

I chose a laptop computer when I was in the market for a new computer.

My home computer doubles as my work computer so I wanted to ensure I purchased a good one that would give me what I needed while also be durable enough to handling the long hours it will be running.

Typically my computer runs upwards of 15 hours per day every day!

I wanted a computer that among other things had excellent processing speed, a good quality monitor, wireless Internet capabilities and portability.

In that regard, I decided to get a laptop computer as I wanted something portable and that didn’t take up too much space.

I got an HP laptop with 1 GB of memory and a 100 GB hard drive, a great 17 inch high definition monitor and AMD Turion mobile technology for wireless Internet.

Plus it fits in my computer bag to take with me!

True, a laptop computer is often more expensive than a comparable desktop computer but I love the portability of my laptop and the fact that it does not take up nearly as much room as a desktop computer.

If you’re the type of person who thinks about working remotely, working on your patio with your wireless Internet connection or even just working in different parts of your house like I do, I’d consider a laptop computer.

The portability is fantastic!

Here is the laptop I bought in June 2006 in case you want to learn more:
