Website Optimization, SEO And Keyword Optimization
Website optimization is a term you’ll probably come across numerous time during your online experience. You’ll probably also hear about search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword optimization, too.
Basically, the goal in each case is to get your web pages near or at the top of various search engine rankings. Website optimization essentially refers to structuring your web page in such a way that the search engines look at it more favorably than other web pages and rank your page higher in their rankings which should lead to better visitor numbers. When you use a search engine and search for a particular keyword, you are presented with a page of URL results that you can choose to click on to learn more about. You’ll typically see several kinds of results on your search engines results page: 1. Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertisements
2. Paid Inclusion Listings
3. Organic Listings
Optimizing your website around keyword-optimized pages attempts to get the best search engine results for the third type of results, organic search engine listings. Organic listings don’t require you to pay out any money to achieve. The search engines each have their own algorithms or mechanisms that they use to determine why one website is ranked ahead of the others for a particular keyword. All of my websites are optimized around popular keywords that I know my visitors like to search for. Some people pay Search Engine Optimization (SEO) companies to do the work for them and try to gain high search engine rankings with their methods. I don’t do this because I don’t want to pay for their services on an ongoing basis. How do I determine which keywords are popular and how do I figure out how to optimize each of my pages to ensure they are keyword optimized? I don’t do it myself, that’s for sure! I use SiteBuildIt to do it for me. SiteBuildIt’s tools enable me to research possible keywords, figure out which ones I should use (ie. profitable ones) and which ones I should ignore (ie. unprofitable ones). As the number of websites increases exponentially, building high quality content becomes more and more necessary to help you get to the top of the search engine rankings.
